PROSSER - A pool of 19 contestants has been whittled to the final 10 for the first-ever "The Valley's Got Talent" competition.
Hosted by the Prosser Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Tom Denchel Ford Country, a preliminary competition was held last Saturday. A total of 19 contestants performed for three local judges.
The Top 10 will now perform on the Prosser city park stage at 1 p.m. on Labor Day, Sept. 6, during Prosser's annual States Day Celebration.
All of the activities at the Prosser city park are free to the public. Prosser's grand parade kicks off the fun at 10 a.m., with park activities starting an hour later.
